Over its history, the Camaro has undergone four distinct generations before production initially ended in 2002. However, the nameplate was revived with a concept car that led to the fifth-generation Camaro, which officially began production on March 16, 2009.

The sixth generation of the Camaro, which introduced updates and modern features, had its production conclude in December 2023, marking the end of the model's availability for the 2024 model year.
